Being a princess isn’t always what you think it is! Since 2005 I have been kicked, sneezed on groped and yes even peed on (EWWW!!!)
After over 13 years of serving I have hung up my tiara. I can tell you the good, the bad and the frankly ugly of being a professional princess. The impossible expectations, the competitive girls and even the party companies that have clearly lost touch with reality. People lose sight (including the big companies) about the fact that its about making dreams come true and bringing characters to life. Its not about Instagram likes, efficiency or making numbers for the day. At the end of the day the “magic” is all that should matter and frankly it doesn’t anymore.
In 2007 I was hired by my first party company, it was an easy buck and she was a joy to work for, and who couldn’t love making dreams come true. After years of playing the same character I got to branch out (not too much cause in the early days only one princess was offered). I worked for another company before deciding to open my own (all while still employed at my theme park job) and create the most magical experience possible, the best wigs, dresses and performers. My theme park job kept me struggling with disordered eating, negative body image and low self worth. It took me turning my back on it all to reclaim myself.
Now I am here to empower YOU to look and feel your best on a budget! I take all the tips and tricks I picked up along the way and share them along with all of the stories from the inside.
