Dapper day was such a wonderful experience this year, I had a great time with friends and made some awesome new ones. I went with two really non traditional dapper day looks, Indiana Jones and Barbie.  Barbie ended up being a last minute emergency look but my original vintage look will be making an appearance very very soon!

This year day one was split up into two locations, Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom.  I totally passed on Animal Kingdom and went straight to Magic.  We had an amazing time!

Everything in this outfit was 40s inspired to keep to the Indiana Jones theme and I kept each item as something I can wear day in and out (I’ve already worn the shirt again). For the record yes the bag is one I took from my Rey cosplay and it worked perfectly with this outfit!

So my vintage dress decided it needed a little extra love and will make an appearance later.  So I borrowed this adorable Barbie number from a friend super last minute (she just may not get it back).  It combines two of my favorite things, polka dots and gingham so you really can’t go wrong, the amazing shape on this dress is so amazing for hour glass figures and would be incredible on anyone with a larger bust with its great neckline and wiggle bottom.

If you are wondering about the hair I absolutely wigged it both days, my fine curly hair will not hold a style like that for long periods in the Florida humidity and I don’t want to do that much damage.  My wig supplier is always Royal Enchantments.  She always does an amazing job and can help make whats in my brain come to life on my head.  Liz is always helping my crazy brain come to life 🙂
